Alrabaa is an associate professor of infectious disease and international medicine at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine and is the section chief of infectious disease at its teaching hospital, Tampa General. Alrabaa is the medical director of tuberculosis services at the Florida Department of Health, Pinellas County. In addition, she is the medical director of LifeLink tissue bank of Florida, Georgia and Puerto Rico. In this role, Alrabaa determines donor eligibility and tissue safety for transplantation. Alrabaa’s expertise is in infections related to organ and tissue transplantation and in tuberculosis. She is an active member of both Infectious Disease Society of America and the American Association of Tissue banks.
