Connect2STEAM
The University of Arizona Health Sciences, along with our partners Cox Communications and the Arizona SciTech Institute, presents Connect2STEAM — a community educational program celebrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math and Medicine.
Designed to inspire STEAM learning, Connect2STEAM reaches children ages 5 years and above, as well as adults across Arizona. Connect2STEAM was originally launched as a mega community outreach event and has now reached more than 40,000 attendees.
In addition to its signature events, Connect2STEAM is available in multiple formats.
- Connect2STEM TV on YouTube offers engaging family-friendly programming for ages 5 and older. The short videos include hands-on projects, and all episodes can be watched on-demand.
- Wilbur’s Learning Lab on the Go offers in-person educational presentations provided by UArizona Health Sciences faculty, staff and students. These quick sessions promote health and wellness to children of all ages.
- Connect2STEAM's hands-on learning display is available on request for events, health fairs and conferences across Arizona. Let Connect2STEM be a part of your educational outreach program.
The future will present new challenges that require inquisitive minds to solve. Through Connect2STEAM, we hope to inspire the next generation of creative thinkers, skilled innovators and compassionate leaders to inspire future STEAM professionals. These students represent the future of Arizona and are the building blocks to a strong foundation to Arizona’s Bioscience Roadmap plan with the goal to make Arizona a leader in select bioscience fields.
