Mark Lee

Principal Scientist, CAMI

Mark Lee is a principal scientist at the Center for Advanced Molecular and Immunological Therapies.

Lee’s research draws inspiration from the T cell’s ability to detect and discriminate discrete differences in key molecular interactions. His goal is to harness these distinct molecular interactions to develop new immunotherapies. At CAMI, Lee’s group is developing new immunotherapies to unleash the immune cell’s potential to combat challenging diseases.

Lee received his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Arizona. Prior to his work at CAMI, he served as a research specialist and lab manager at the U of A College of Medicine – Tucson’s Department of Immunobiology. Lee has more than a decade of experience in immunology research and has authored many publications that contribute new insights into immune receptor signaling.
