Welcome back to our series on envenomations, intoxications and travel-related diseases in the Southwest. We are starting the 2025 series with two topics: Orf and HIV awareness and prevention in the field. Orf is a contagious viral infection that can cause painful lesions in humans, and is known as sore mouth disease in hoofed animals.
