Med-Start
Eligibility
- High school students who have completed their junior year and have a strong interest in a health care profession
- All students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and residents of Arizona for at least one year
- Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and complete the interview process
Med-Start Tucson is a residential program. All participants are required to reside in a University of Arizona residence hall for the duration of the program under the supervision of counselors and staff members. Participants must take part in all presentations, tours and required classes.

Applications for Med-Start are available from September through January. Applicants must submit completed applications and the supplemental forms listed below by February 1.
